A self-made developer born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Brooklyn, Ricardo is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Claridge Properties. Ricardo began buying and developing buildings in the metropolitan New York area when he was in his late teens. While attending school and simultaneously working jobs in and out of the real estate industry, Ricardo honed his gift for pinpointing unforeseen opportunities and ambitiously transforming them into lucrative investments. Since founding Claridge Properties in 1999, the firm has become one of the most exciting development companies in the real estate business, with an enviable portfolio of properties across the country. Ricardo has developed everything from a four-acre site on the Brooklyn waterfront to an iconic residential, hotel and office complex in Detroit to a forward-reaching $1.5 billion mixed use project in downtown Los Angeles, always providing added value in the form of amenities and community impact.
